Privacy notice.

• Information you give us. When you email us or book a call, we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to share about your needs.
• Booking data. Calls are scheduled through Cal.com, which processes the details you enter to confirm the meeting.
• Usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate traffic. It does not identify you or track you across other sites.

To respond to your enquiry, schedule and prepare for calls, deliver and improve our services, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business — currently our website hosting and analytics provider (Vercel), our scheduling provider (Cal.com), Resend (which delivers our transactional email), Hetzner (which provides the German server our self-hosted CRM runs on), and Cloudflare (which provides our DNS and stores our encrypted backups) — and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information where required by law.

Our analytics are cookieless. The embedded Cal.com scheduler may set cookies necessary for booking when you interact with it; you can decline by emailing us to book instead.

We keep enquiry and booking information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete it.

The assessments at /tools run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to us, stored by us, or logged anywhere while you use them — you can complete any of them and see your full results without telling us who you are. We do record anonymous, cookieless counts of when a tool is started and completed, using the same privacy-friendly analytics described above — that tells us the tools are being used, not by whom. If you request a summary and later forward the results link it generates, your answers are encoded in that link, so opening it does send them to our server — that only applies to a link you have chosen to share, not to using the assessment itself.

If you ask us to email you a summary, we collect your name, work email, company, the answers to that assessment, and the time you gave consent. We use these to send the summary you asked for and, with your consent, occasional notes on private AI and automation. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with advertisers.

That information is stored in a CRM that Marain runs itself, on a server we rent in Nuremberg, Germany — not in a third-party sales platform. The automation that files it there runs on the same server.

Being self-hosted does not mean no one else is involved, so to be precise about who is: Hetzner provides the German server the CRM and its backups run on; Cloudflare provides our DNS and stores the encrypted nightly database backups; Resend delivers the email, and its sending infrastructure is in the United States, so a summary you ask for travels through the US to reach you; and Vercel hosts this website, so a capture passes through it on the way to us. Each is a processor acting on our instructions, and none of them sells or markets to you.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also write to info@marain.space at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We act on deletion requests within 30 days.

Queries you enter at /search are recorded to improve the search, without your IP address or any other identifier.

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
